Regrettably it hasn't only been dA that has been neglected. For awhile there I didn't go near the internet. Real Life encroached on all my leisurely activities: reading, writing, drawing, etc. I am happy to say that things are smoothing out. I'm finally able to breach the surface and breathe the air. My son has been diagnosed with epilepsy and is responding very nicely to the anti-convulsant prescribed to him. Hasn't had a seizure since December (knock on wood). My business has taken a substantial hit due to the recession, but is still plodding along. My husband was laid off the day before New Year's Eve, but now has the opportunity to return to school and finish his degree. I have 4, 4, drawings on the go: a wolf's head, a maple tree from the park I always take my son to (I have to do something while he's playing), another wolf, and an illustration I've begun for my new nephew. They're all coming along quite slowly, but that's better than not coming along at all, yes?
I've resumed my beta-ing duties for a friend of mine, and have been inspired to continue working on my own writing. I owe a few people here a story or two. That means you Endejester! And part 2 of Tension for Crab of Doom. I intended to have it finished for his birthday, but you know what happens to even the best of intentions. And let us not forget my FF VII fan fic for Isflamma. That one is turning into a novel.
Wow. Now I feel overwhelmed.
I want to say I'll be visiting here more often, but I'm afraid I'll jinx myself. So for now I'll say...we'll see. It was tedious going through 500+ deviations, but I thoroughly enjoyed catching up on all the beautiful work being submitted. Speaking of work...
...check out my commission of Sephiroth by Arkoniel. Mine, all mine!! He's going to hang right next to my Xemnas picture. Plus I have another commission coming by him to complete my triptych. *squeals with glee* I'm happy. Broke, but happy!

I hope to be around more often. I haven't been to y!Gallery in quite awhile. Been spending too much time on YouTube watching Bleach episodes. I'm an addict. I can't get enough of Renji.*shakes head* I'm so weak. Another reason I've been absent is I'm trying to cut down on the amount of time I'm on the computer. I'm failing miserably of course, but I'm still trying. I haven't forgotten my online friends though. You're on my mind more often than you know. Every time I see a new submission, I smile, which is something I don't do very often lately. But every time I see Zeximouse, I can't help myself!

Peace is but a shadow of death, desperate to forget its painful past...Though we hope for promising years. After shedding a thousand tears, yesterday's sorrow constantly nears. And while the moon still shines blue, by dawn, it will turn to scarlet hue.
